Important Tips for online assessment
Ensure that you can meet the
following technical requirements for any online assessments
Hardware requirement
- Minimum I3 Processor
- RAM 1GB
- HDD Space 1GB of free space
- Video Single display
- Screen resolution of 1024×768
- Two button mouse
- Keyboard
- Webcam
- Audio capability and headphones may be
required for some assessments.

Internet & Bandwidth

Minimum 1 MBPS Uninterrupted Internet
Instruction for taking the online assessment
Before Beginning the Online assessment:
·
Make
sure you have a Good Internet connection.
·
All the
assessments have to be taken on Laptop/Desktop (webcam enabled) only.
·
Restart
your modem/internet device to make sure the internet is working.
·
Reboot
your computer once before the online assessment (it will free up memory resources
from other programs on your computer).
·
Make
sure you sit in a room alone(as it is webcam based online assessment, it will
record all the activities of the student during the assessment in case any
malpractice happens student will be rejected)
·
Make
sure you are clearly visible to the webcam.
·
Shout
down all the Instant Messaging tools(Skype, MSN, System upgrade, or any other
pop-up)
·
Disable
Anti Virus.
·
Disable
screen saver in your laptop/Desktop
·
Use
recommended Browser (Updated Chrome/Firefox).
·
Maximize
your browser window before starting the assessment. Minimizing the browser window
during the assessment can prevent the submission of your assessment.
·
When you
begin the assessment, click the ONCE link to launch the assessment.
·
Read all
the instructions carefully.
During the Assessment:
·
Start
your assessment on time.
·
Do not
resize (minimize) the browser during the assessment.
·
Never
click the “Back” button on the browser. This will take you out of the assessment
and prevent the platform from tracking your selected answers.
·
Avoid
scrolling using the scroll button on your mouse.
·
Do not
switch tabs during assessments (Do not Google for anything).
·
Do not
stop the session in between and then return later. This is especially important
in the online environment where the system will "time-out" and not
allow you to re-enter the assessment site.
·
Do not
use Calculator/Phones or other devices during the assessments.
Dos & Don’ts for
Online/Virtual Interview:
·
Ensure a Good Internet connection.
·
Make
sure your Laptop is fully charged.
·
Get
dressed formally.
·
Make
sure to keep a notebook and pen along with you during the interview.
·
Make
sure there should not be any distractions/disturbances.
·
Make the sure place where you attend the interview has adequate light.
·
Keep
all the documents (resume and academic records) in Google Drive for quick
access.
·
Keep a hard copy of your resume during the interview.
·
Regularly
access your Junk/Spam mail (as most emails from the industry reach spam).
·
Login
at least 10 min before the scheduled time
·
Greet
your panel as soon as you join the meeting
·
Keep
your video on during the interview.
